At English Markers, we’re delighted to now offer bespoke in-school student masterclasses, led by experienced Senior Examiners, designed to bring exam preparation to life. These sessions complement our marking and CPD services- creating a holistic support package for your students and staff.

Examiners at the Front

Every Masterclass is delivered by qualified English teachers who also serve as Senior Examiners. That means that students get direct insight into how examiners think, how marks are awarded, and how to convert understanding into maximised performance.

Active, Exam-Focused Learning

Rather than passive lecture-style delivery, our sessions are highly interactive: model

responses, annotation practice, paired marking, examination of high- and low-scoring

scripts, writing time, and immediate feedback.

We don’t deliver off-the-shelf sessions. Before the day, we work with you to review

your students’ mock data, identify topic gaps, and shape the workshop so that it

responds to your learners’ specific needs.

Bridging to Strategy

Use your mock data in advance so the workshop targets exactly what students need.

After marking your mocks, we feed emerging trends back into the Masterclass or follow-up session.

You can combine Masterclass delivery with CPD for staff: share insights from student performance, allow teachers to observe or co-lead, or deliver mini-insets after the student session.
